Donor Advised Funds (DAF)

Retirement Funds
If you are age 70½ or older, you can donate up to $100,000 directly from your IRA and Roth IRA, without treating the withdrawal as taxable income.

Workplace Giving
Designate Equal Access to Justice as a recipient of your charitable gifts. Whether you participate in a workplace giving campaign, like
United Way, or individually through employer pay-roll deductions, this is an easy, automatic way to give.
Stock donations to EAJ may also be made via United Way of Central New Mexico.
Matching Gifts
Double the impact of your charitable giving with a matching contribution from your employer. Some companies will also match gifts made by retired employees and/or employee spouses.
Check with your Human Resources team and see if your employer offers this great benefit!

If you are leaving public office and have campaign funds remaining, please consider donating them to EAJ! No gift is too small.
Estate Gifts
Leave a legacy of justice, by making a bequest in your estate plan to Equal Access to Justice. Your bequest will ensure that EAJ continues to increase access to justice by providing unrestricted, noncompetitive funds to civil legal aid organizations in New Mexico.
Making a bequest is simple. Here is sample bequest language you can use in your will:
“I hereby bequeath to Equal Access to Justice, a nonprofit organization located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the sum of $____ (or ____ % of my residuary estate) for the unrestricted purposes of the organization."
