Karen Meyers is the founder of Equal Access to Justice. She currently serves as the Director of the Consumer Financial Protection Initiative with the City of Albuquerque. Former roles include Executive Director, Legal Aid Society of Albuquerque (now New Mexico Legal Aid); Director of Consumer Protection at the New Mexico Attorney General’s Office; Assistant Enforcement Director for Policy and Strategy at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
Daniel Yohalem is a civil rights attorney. He serves as co-counsel for impact litigation and cooperating attorney with the New Mexico Center on Law and Poverty, NM Foundation for Open Government and ACLU-NM. He is in private practice representing plaintiffs in first amendment, civil rights, open government, employment, jail and police misconduct, and class action law reform cases.
