Matching Gifts
Double or even triple the impact of your gift to Equal Access to Justice by making a matching donation. Some companies will also match gifts made by retired employees and/or employee spouses. Check with your human resources department to find out if there is a matching gift program, and, if so, they will be able to provide you with a matching gift form. Donor Advised Funds
Make a significant impact with a donor advised fund. Recommend a recurring gift to Equal Access to Justice through your existing DAF. You may initiate your grant recommendation from your existing DAF by clicking here. Our tax ID number is 85-0437183. EAJ's Legacy Society is a great way to make a transformative gift to sustain our work and increase our impact. Gifts may be made in someone's honor or on behalf of a family or group. ($25,000 or more, payable over a multi-year period.)
IRA Charitable Rollover
If you are age 70½ or older, use your traditional IRA as a simple way to reduce your tax liability and make your charitable gift to Equal Access to Justice. Contact your tax advisor for additional information.
United Way of Central New Mexico
Designate Equal Access to Justice as a recipient of your donations through United Way. Whether you participate individually or through a workplace giving campaign, this is an easy way to make a sustaining gift. Stock donations to EAJ may be made via United Way.
Unused Campaign Funds
If you are leaving public office and have campaign funds remaining, please consider donating them to EAJ! No gift is too small.
Estate Gifts
Leave a legacy of justice, by making a bequest in your estate plan to Equal Access to Justice. Your bequest will ensure that EAJ continues to increase access to justice by providing unrestricted, noncompetitive funds to civil legal aid organizations in New Mexico.
Making a bequest is simple. Here is sample bequest language you can use in your will:
“I hereby bequeath to Equal Access to Justice, a nonprofit organization located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the sum of $____ (or ____ % of my residuary estate) for the unrestricted purposes of the organization."
